Well im not sure you need to lose weight, but i'll tell you how to quick. I actually lost 20 pounds in 2 days this way, no joke. Do high intensity workouts( running, crunchs, stuff like that) for 2 to 3 hours. Then try to do weights for around an hour( when you gain muscle it allows you to lose weight faster). Drink water as much as you can especially after working out( this will wash way bad toxins in ur body that prevent u from losing weight the most effectivly). When you drink lots of water you will actually lose your desire for sweets and other unhealthy foods. Running also gives you a desire to eat right. Then only eat vegetables or chicken( not to much chicken, carrots are best). If you set this as ur goal you lose as much weight as you need, even if you run less and lift weights less. Good luck! By the way check out ur bmi measurement to see if its actually for you to lose weight, please dont binge or purge. Do not fast, try to make living healthy a lifestyle not a fad.

You are 5'6" and 69 pounds? You are appear to be under weight. You should speak to a doctor before going on any diet. Because you are so young, you should not try any of the commercial diets out there because they are not made for children.

3. Low Fat Food Doesn't work. You can't lose weight using low fat diets. Almost everybody today is buying low fat or non fat food, however everybody is getting fatter by doing this. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This should tell you something. The low fat menu is not the answer to dieting.
4. Low Carb Plans Don't work. More than likely you will find it too hard to lose weight on a low carb diet.Why? Because they are too strict and too hard to follow. It takes tons of energy out of your body which makes it nearly impossible to stay on the program. A popular low carb diet is the Adkins Diet. The problem with Adkins is that it puts you on basically a starvation level of carbs, with only 80 carb calories a day for the first few weeks. Basically this is like starving yourself.
5. Low Calorie Diets Don't Work. Eating low calories is the worst thing you can do for your body. All this diet does is slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight. Actually the first few days you will lose a few pounds. But then it comes to a stop and you will be stuck in a diet plateau. The reason for this is that your metabolism will detect a major drop in calories and then adjust itself to burn fewer calories each day.
6. What you have to do is rotate your eating patterns. When you rotate your eating patterns it takes a few days before your metabolism can adjust to the new eating patterns. And by rotating your eating patterns this is what will force you to burn fat. The thing is, your metabolism has no idea what you will eat in the coming days. Your metabolism always burns calories from what you have eaten in the prior days. So you have to shock your metabolism into thinking something different. This is called The Shifting Calories Theory. I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Wow! you are really tall for your age. I hope your weight id 69 kilo and not lbs.? To get a flat stomach you should avoid empty calories as much as possible. Sugar is enemy number one, with saturated fat a close number two. Avoid soda, ice cream, candy, etc.,etc., and avoid all fried and greasy food.
