And the more I think about this, the more it happens. THis is happenin to me for the first time. If this is because of stress, how do I deal wid it and if it is not stress, then what is it? it sounds like a panic attack. do a quick search online for panic attacks and it will give you more information. but dont get worried that you get them, a lot of people do and most of the people who get them dont know what they are or dont want to admit to having them. but there is absolutely nothing wrong with them!! just take a while and relax, it wont hurt, youre mind cant think right now anyways, so why put more stress on it!! hope this helps!!

Sounds like you a bit of test taking anxiety and little like you don't like the subject. If you are a college student, I would highly recommend that you check with your college to see if they provide assistance with overcoming test taking anxieties. My university offered that and other services so I don't think it's an uncommon thing for students. I even have a best friend who had to take her exam away from the rest of the class because she would get so nervous, she couldn't complete the exam. Talk to your professor/teacher and explain your situation.

Is it a subject that you are interested in or just required to take? Sometimes that makes a difference. In school, when I wasn't interested in something, I would drift off into like a daydream and my retention for the subject matter was close to nothing. I skipped class a lot and really didn't learn much. Mainly tried to pass with a C so I would get the credit for my general education requirements.

Some hospitals, clinics and community education programs offer stress management. Maybe you want to look into that also. Being a student can be a very stressful time but it shouldn't be this way!

it's normal when you try to cram it. You're experiencing a common type of nervous breakdown where your body physically reacts to stress in addition to mentally.

Take big breaks from study (go to gym, shopping, movies, etc) to keep your mind off stress. Then go back and study visuals in the textbooks (graphs, charts, figures, pictures, chapter summary at the end, etc). Read only little bits and pieces that you're actually curious about instead of EVERYTHING!

Good luck :)

You might consider asking for a medical exemption from this exam and retake the course or even the whole year. Why overload yourself to where life is rotten. You deserve better and you can wait for better. Forget about losing the false friends you now have anyway.

Get a study buddy. Take your time. They can help alot.

i have a Masters in Economics and I never had exam anxiety so bad. Just MAKE YOURSELF STUDY. You will feel like you did the best you could.

oh yeah, GO TO CLASS! The instructor ACTUALLY TELLS YOU WHAT TO STUDY!!!!

sure! My tests commence on Wednesday and it truly is going to be so undesirable! My toughest day is Thursday, after I easily have more desirable Accounting, AP authorities & Politics and AP records. And the worst area is, i have were given a foul case of senioritis!
