I am mostly putting together power points with pictures/photo's from my own files. My husband tends to do more document type of presentations. When we attempted to put them in yesterday they were too large and trying to manually reduce the sides/size was hard to do as the edges of the picture went off the area and it's time consuming. Condsidering this is the first of many I will doing and this one involves 50 pictures is there a way to automatically formatt them or make this any easier. We tried the page format that has one heading and then put the picture underneath it and then I believe we also tried the one with one heading and then under that it had a big box but it didn't seem to work for either without resizing it.

Please give me simple instructions : )

If it is important I do not have a newer power point model that may have things easier now?!

We also tried to right click and input the pictures but got the jpeg symbol in there not the picture.

Thank you!!

I know a great site for Powerpoint Questions - they email you back very quickly for free, plus there are tons of other great information available. Check it out....www.brainybetty.com.

Since you don't say which version you have, it is hard to determine what layout you should use. I have a 2002 version here, and there is a slide layout that has a title box and then a box that has what would look like an excel table, a face of a man, a chart, and a flow chart diagram. If you use that slide template, you click on the icon to add the content (you would click on what looks to b a picture of a mountain) and then choose your photograph.

If the picture is so large you cannot grab an end to resize, place your mouse on the picture and click the right mouse button. A drop down menu should appear, choose the format picture option. A format box will open, choose the tab marked size...you will be able to specify the size you want there.

You could also check all your photos to see what size they are, and resize them before inserting them.

In PowerPoint, click on the Insert menu, then image, then pick between report...Browse to the position ur %is saved. choose it and click Insert. accurate click on the picture u inserted on the slide and click on Order, then deliver to lower back. you are able to improve the picture by way of clicking on it to choose it and dragging the perimeters outwards. desire that helps.
