People 'found girlfriends' for thousands of years before the internet. If you can't think of any, then there are lots of issues giong on here. Remove your hand from the mouse and venture outside. You sound young, so get involved with clubs or sports to expand your social circles. And don't enter anything "trying to find a girlfriend" - join in because you want to.

you say it as if using the internet is the old fashioned way, my God anyway to me is better than that not that i've been smart enough to follow this advice myself but i've gathered that you need to think about the type of person you want to meet and for what and then think about where those people go to no matter the place I mean really decent people usually arent in bars I mean they are but not on the regular basis it takes to form a relationship and courting in one its easy so to speak but not practical for long term partner. I know that sounds odd because all kinds of people from all walks of life frequent a bar I guess you just have to be able to weed thru the garbage actually my mom found her husband in one so what do I know, good luck Kim

Try and explore ways to find clubs or associations that are geared toward your own hobbies. Ski club or a surf club maybe even a book reading club. Also since I love to read I love to pick up women in libraries. I usually just stare at the one I have singled out and then when that moment of eye to eye contact happens I wink at her and then let her think about me for a while. Eventually when I get up to go to the water machine to buy a bottle of water inevitably she is there saying hi.....

If your looking for a LTR then just look all around you and avoid the places that may attract the type of girl you don't want. She'll probably show up at the time your not looking for her.

I found the love of my life when I was definitely not looking. You will just know when it happens. It comes when you least expect it believe me. My husband and I didn't hit it off right away either. it took a little bit of time but now we are married with three kids.

the internet is the worst place to try to find a girlfriend...do it the old fashion way..through friends and family..going to church

Stop worrying about getting a girlfriend and just live your life. Oneday someone will come your way. Just be patient.

Just live your life. Go out where people are. Work, church, school, gym, coffee shop. Wherever, just get out there, have fun and talk to people. Eventually, you'll catch someone's eye.
