Hey u guys! I've just got a smoothie maker and just wondered if its ok to make them the night before and then have them in the morning. Apart from the time involved in the morning of making/cleaning afterwards - my kenwood can be a little noisy especially with frozen berries and ice......many thanks

Of course you can, just cover and put in the fridge. Bear in mind the contents can seperate over time so just give it a stir or a shake before consuming

Yeah course you can. You do need to keep it refrigerated. You can even freeze them. Go to market get loads of fruit or veg and spend time making a batch load, freeze them straight away. Take out the night before, you have smoothies every day, Its a huge effort, but well worth it. You cant keep them frozen for very long though! Good luck.

Just make surethat you stir them well as all the fruit will sink and you will be left with a layer of liquid at the top.
Also be aware that some fruit discolours easily sop the colour of your smoothie might not be as appetising as the night before. Bananas are notorius for going brown quite quickly.

they dont taste as nice the next day because certain fruits seperate and it just looks a gooey mess.I would chop all the fruit the night before but then mix them the next day.

You'd have to make them, then cover them with cling film and then refridgerate them. Just easier to make them in the morning.
