I wouldnt worry about it most people dont even think about cctv ,it was an accident and im sure it will happen to you one day.All these do gooders saying you should have left a note obviously havent been shafted by this situation before. If people know someone else is going to pay for it they will go straight to the main dealer and have extra work done ....at your cost. If they did get in touch just say you didnt realise it was you ... and if they said they have cctv of you looking at the damage after you caused it ..then say you was checking and didnt think it was you because you hardly touched the car and that you didnt want to be paying for something you didnt do.

they will give ur car reg to the police or the tax company who will find out who the car is registered with and then they will either call at ur home of send a letter, but its nearly worse not stopping than doin the damge and then driving off, if ur insured it wudnt be that big of a deal to claim and it shudnt send ur premium up that much unless u have a history of accidents, also some people will take a cash settlement rather than claiming thru insurance companies, but again the best thing to do is stop and own up. u may get points on ur licence for leaving an 'accident' however minor, good luck

I hope they find you, people do this all the time. Why should the other person have to have a damaged car! which they either pay to repair themselves or have to pay an excess and a hike in their insurance. It is also an offence to leave the scene of an accident!!! The police could well be paying you a visit. You may have also invalidated your insurance, which means that you will have to pay any monies out of your own pocket.
If it was my car you had gone into then I don't think I would feel particularly sympathetic, especially as you seem more bothered about them finding out who you are, rather than guilty for damaging someone elses property!
Horrible horrible person
Again another comment more bothered about yourself than the peoples whose car you have damaged!

If they find out who you are via CCTV or witness, then they will definitely make you pay for the repairs, and you would probably get a fine for leaving the scene of an accident.
If you are underage, your parents will probably kill you. If you are older, then you should f**king know better.
What would you want someone to do if they hit your car??
If you have insurance, they will pay for it (though they might raise your rates). If you can't find who owns the car, leave them a note on their windshield or something, so that they can contact you.

If there's no witnesses. Then there's no way of anyone knowing or finding out about the scratch on the other vehicle. Although if it was my car and someone did this, I would be pissed, and have no choice but to call my own insurance company and have the repairs done. Try to be more careful in the future. (After all, the question really is, How would it make you feel, if it were your car?) ~Good Luck~ =-)

What you should have done is the right thing and left your name and number so the owner of the car YOU damaged could get in touch with you and figure out the best way to take care of the problem and you will be able to sleep at night with out having to worry about your immature reaction to a problem you caused

most people know that when you park your car you are parking at your own risk, people know that if they park in a supermarket they might get hit by a trolley and have to pay for repairs themselves but they still do it. try not to let it bother you any more and remember this when its done to you.
in answer to your other question you are only allowed 6 points in your first 2 years of driving before you have to re-take your tests

You just passed your test and not sure of this stuff - typical of new drivers they go around I passed my test I can drive and all that **** but have no idea what to do in circumstances. What you should have done was left your name and number on their windscreen, so they can contact you, I hate people like you who don't bother and just drive away it happened to me once and I had to fork out of my money to fix it.

I hope you feel like crap. Atleast we can all take comfort in "what goes around, comes around" and you will definately get whats coming for you.
How bad of a person are you that you are so inconsiderate of others that you would rather have them pay a large deductible then be truthful? You should be ashamed.
I hope your caught for the sake of everyone.
