It certainly isn't me! I adore the Irish (yes, I've known lots). Warm, fun, sharing, creative--come on! I love their slang, I love Maeve Binchy, I love their names. It's not nice to make such a generalization. Oh yes, they can also be very poetic, & melancholy, & I suppose all the things "other" people are--but if I had to choose, it's Irish for me! (I'm Slavic.)

I spent 2 wks in Ireland a few years ago and everyone we met was friendly and helpful (we were on vacation there from the US). Just really lovely people...that's been about 6 yrs ago though...perhaps things have changed...if so, that's unfortunate.
But what does that have to do with Singles & Dating? You having trouble finding friendly Irish chicks to date?

your racist against your own...lol...ok im kidding but no i haven't noticed that . There r cold and dishonest people every where Irish or otherwise..there are also good honest people!

I only know one Irishman and he's a jerk, but that could just be his own personality. Maybe you just choose the wrong people to associate with?

i met an irish woman when i was in Sevilla. she's very talktive...that's all...and smokes alot
