I have heard that they do but never ask anyone who would really know. I can see how a sex drive would cause issue in mentally retarded boys. Can someone tell me?

They do if he is acting out or becomes sexually aggressive toward others. They may do it also if he is masturbating in public or otherwise being sexually improper. This is done with medication and positive reinforcement, as well as discipline.

No that is not common at all. I heard one case about a mentally retarded woman who was forced to have a tubal ligation, but never to stop the sex drive. I also can see where it could potentially be a problem, but not a big enough problem to start taking away sex drives of innocent boys. Perhaps if there was a crime committed. That is a violation of human rights, especially here in America. Maybe they are doing that in other countries.

Mentally retarded human beings can't be discriminated hostile to sexually or any opposite direction. they have a similar rights as all of us else and may want to have sex in the journey that they prefer to. there is a few legal debate in this challenge, yet because it stands, except on a case by case foundation, one can't stress birth control on a male or lady on the concept of their IQ. i do not understand what developmental age the boy down the line is. If he looks 20 yet is 6 in his head, him taking area in along with your little ones might want to be accepted to him. Being retarded does not recommend he's a pedophile. frequently the disabled are the victims, not the aggressor.

I don't know, but I would be interested in the answer. I know that salt peter was often added to the food of some armies to, hmmm... keep them focused on the matter at hand.

It would not surprise me to learn that it is a common practice in institutions.

Maybe so that they wouldn't attack a female because of unbridled lust that they themselves cannot understand, and commit a crime like rape for which they cannot be indicted... the female would still have suffered.
