without looking like a freak. something like holding in your abs, how many reps should i do?

about 8 reps. Always taking a break from the desk area and stretching, moving around is very important. Holding in your abs, no one should even know you are doing that. If you type a lot on the computer, every hour you should stretch your hands, palms to keep from getting carpel tunnel syndrom. Good luck.

You basically answered your own question. Hold your abs with your bottom clinched for five seconds rest for five. Do this ten times. Repeat as often as you think about it. If your office has stairs and an elevator, take the stairs.

As far as people looking at you as if you are a freak, don't worry about that when that little extra work at the office starts making you feel and look better. Then who will look like the freak?

I have attached an address for some desk exercises. I also hear that if you replace your office chair with one of those big exercise balls, They work.
Holding in your abs is a great idea too. Like maintaining your posture while seated will also help.
