What is a typical Circassian?

What kind of features and characteristics do circassians have? Why do they look the way they do besides genes?

Adyghe is the name this people apply to themselves although in the West they are often known as the Circassians, a term which can also apply to a broader group of peoples in the North Caucasus. Their language is also referred to as Adyghe or Adygeyan.

I'll take this to mean caucasian. Caucasians are white people. Most caucasians are of European descent. The climate and their very long line of ancestors over there plays a big part in why they look the way they do.

I am Circassian. Circassian people look European. We have light skin, eye and hair colors and European or Caucasian facial features. Some have dark eyes or hair but never dark skin. Any Circassian you see with dark skin or an Asian-like face isn t really a Circassian, they are 100% mixed. Circassians are respectful people and they are taught that they ALWAYS must respect the elders and we are taught to stand up whenever an older person comes into a room we re in as a matter of respect. Circassians are also taught that guys must always keep their heads high and backs straight. They are also taught that they must help out girls when in need and never to beat up women. Women are taught to be extremely feminine keeping their heads up and backs straight but their sight downwards. But you most likely won t find a PURE Circassian with all of those characteristics nowadays because everything has changed after we got displaced. Also, we use the acrylics but we have our own language, which is not Russian.
