I would not try to do it yourself, get it done at a shop. Be careful, though, make sure its done by reputable companys, it could void your warranty. Check with the dealers service dept first. Usually they cost around $300.

If your car is an automatic, it is quite easy, as they have a built-in start inhibit switch already installed. Manual cars however are a different story and in fact could be potentially dangerous to install a remote start in them! Trunk release, again this is quite easy if the car has an electric trunk release, if not, then a release solenoid needs to be installed as well.

not really, just follow instructions carefully also helps to have a good testlight. I installed one on the wifes van and on her friends van. a little advice don't leave out any of the safety devices

its difficult and if your car has the chip in the key you will have to give up a key so the remote will work. have someone do it for you .
