Can we make this cake using DIET mtn dew and other less fattening items?

10 oz of diet soda, 2 egg whites, box of cake mix...bake according to directions on the box....this is how I make all my cakes!

MT. DEW CAKE
1 pkg. pecan chips
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. Mountain Dew
4 eggs
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
Grease and flour tube pan. Place pecan chips on bottom. Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. As soon as cake is done make glaze for it: 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. Mountain Dew
Boil until coats spoon and pour on cake.

1 box of regular cake mix and a can of soda. Just follow the instruction. We learned this on weight watchers. You can actually use any kind of diet soda and it tastes awesome. Good luck!
