I think we all wonder, it's natural. The grass is always greener- until we get there. Wonder is much different than regret. To wonder is to day dream and to regret is to be ashamed or feel bad about a decision you've made. Good luck to you- and remember an ex is an ex for a reason!!

After the excitement wanes & you settle into the pattern of everyday living......it's not all that exciting. That "spark" is intended to set the fire of marriage. And sometimes you might wonder, what if you'd married so-n-so instead.

Just remember, the grass on the other side still needs to be mowed. There are always adjustments, maintenance, & a different set of problems. No relationship is perfect; it only seems greener.

I have wondered ...yes I think it's natural. My neighbors husband across the street is just very great with his kids....he does lots of yard work and has the kids outside with him while he's doing it....I can barely get my husband to mow the lawn without him calling me a nag...They are very active in their church and my husband just goes because I make him. I wish he was more passionate about it instead of just showing up. He's not a very good handy man either and relies on his parents to help him do EVERYTHING. I love him very much and he is a good father and always comes home to us after work but I still wonder what would it be like to have my neighbors husband.... I would never consider having an affair but you know I'm sure the neighbors husband has his own flaws like everyone. I'm sure the grass isn't always as green as we think it is on the other side. I don't think you're the only one out there. Good luck!

The grass is always greener - till you get to it - then there is other grass that's greener.
I've been married 29 years -plenty of ups and downs along the way and Yes i have from time to time thought of giving it all up. However, when you commit yourself to one person and stick to it then the rewards are immeasurable. For instance, we will grow old together - he accepts me as I am - as I do him, despite all his faults. That's what love is all about. It deepens as the relationship goes on over the years.
God bless,

I think that everybody has been there.
I mean life is not always a bed of roses and you've got good days and bad ones; And certainly after a row, you do wonder if maybe "real men" wouldn't behave differently.
But, it's you just letting steam off. Who doesn't.
It doesn't mean you would change him for the world.
It's like looking and appreciating, appraising, versus looking at a guy like an idiot, gaping, you know like some men with no manners do even when their girl is next to them!
Just disgusting, and so disrespectful.x

Of course, everyone does. It's a perfectly natural feeling. Unfortunately many people test it too and see it's really not greener but screw up what they do have.

I think most people fantasise, its a way of escaping reality for a bit.....

A millionaire whisks you off your feet and caters to your every whim etc.

Then you wake up and rush round like an idiot getting the kids out the door to school ha ha

After being married over 17 years, you learn pretty quickly that the proper saying is "Better the devil you know...."
