I know that you handshake to greet others but sometimes you feel an energy or feeling coming from the other person. What would this mean?

well in my experience i think you can tell if someone is being honest, nervous, or weak from a hand shake. and that vibe you feel it's body language and they are telling you something you just have to figure out what it is. hope i helped. also you can try a book on body language it's got a whole section in it on handshakes to tell you what different types of handshakes mean.good luck

As I tell someone who does business with me,"Don't shake my hand if you're lying to me".
To me a handshake means you accept someone's word like a contract and is not taken lightly.I also have the habit of making people nervous because I will look into your eyes when I shake your hand.

You can tell alot by how someone shakes hands. This is critical information when meeting/greeting people. I am very wary to trust anyone who relies on "fist bumps" instead. It's just too impersonal and sketchy.
