Well if you are one of the millions of cardmembers that charge charge and charge like crazy and pay the minimum every month, don't expect VISA or any other credit card to be lenient with you.
The responsibility of having a credit card rest on you. When you apply for the card, you made a promise to repay the money they lend you.
You, the borrower agree to pay back either the full amount by the due date or a portion of it and be charge interest on the remaining balance the next billing cycle.
They don't take anyone's life., People themselves take their own life by drowning in debt and expecting the credit industry to feel sorry for them.
