i mean, they will generally go with you if you make it available. but you as the woman will never feel that you are special or were "chosen", and will tend to feel that he is with you because you were convenient at the time. does this make sense or am i being "insecure"?

It makes complete sense. I being a woman Know. But if you tell yourself that you are beautiful and well respected, you will be. Confidence and insecurity shows when you meet new people. If You tell yourself you look amazing, others will think you look amazing. Try it for a day, tell yourself all day no matter what obstacles you face, that you ARE beautiful. No mind that you don't exactly feel the most beautiful at that moment. Just go with it and watch the reactions of other people as you enter the room Good Luck!

well everyone generally loves the chase but for a girl to chase a guy is perfectly fine in my opinion. Lots of woman want power etc in society and for a woman to chase a man shows that things r changing and woman r more confident than they were say 25 years ago, in saying that ive been with my bf for 8 years and he did the chasing and if he hadnt i probably wudnt have chased him, but now 8 years on if we split up i'd definately do alot of chasing if it meant i'd get the person i was after.

I think that I understand how you feel, but it's true that it does show how insecure you are.
I've been there myself and I'm feeling much better now.
You need to do things to boost your self esteem and confidence.
Not wait for everybody's approval, and learn to value yourself.
Then you'll see that you do understand why he might just like you for who you are, and that you're a good person, someone worth knowing.

Be careful not to be too insecure, as this insecurity can become annoying for a man after a while and pushes them away, towards the more secure, confident ones.

Women want equality So why shouldn't they chase a man. I'm available for any woman who wants to be friends with me for what ever reason. There are a lot of men who are shy and would love a lady to show interest in them

You make perfect sense to me...A woman should never chase a guy...I feel that women have more power if they do not chase...it is in the choosing whether you want to be with a particular guy.

In this day and age, why shouldn't girl make the 1st move, at least you'll know your not wasting your time with a girl who's could be playing hard to get or really isn't interested. You can make her feel special once your together.

If you have high shoes on then it is very foolish! Chase away,its all part of the fun,you dont have to put it on a plate and you can make them just as convenient.

And whether you plan on wielding a knife or not?
There is nothing wrong with a woman showing her interest in a man and finding out how to interest him.
If you mean saying "Let's go to bed"... then that's not chasing. That's simply not planning on charging... at first.
If his only real interest in you is sex... then you will not likely catch him. But you may catch something from him.

If u chase you will never feel worthy and he will treat you according to the way you feel in any case maybe there is a reason his not falling at your door... your probably better off without him
