Today is January 8, 2007
Today we cut loose all the baggage of the past and start new,
There is no security there are no guarantees, there is no future in mind,
Today I met you. Although I know things about you, as you know things about me, neither one of us know if the other is someone we truly want to be with,
We are willing to meet anew (with who we are today) and see if we see anything in each other that is worth pursuing.
There is space for introspection who are you, who am I, what do we want out of life individually
There are no rules, just two people meeting again
There are no fights or things to harp on from the past as there is no past, it's a clean start that won't necessarily lead anywhere.
Our communications are fresh,

She's asking you if you want to start all over. She wants to start with a clean slate - whatever problems or fights you had in the past will be forgotten and you will get to know each other all over again. It's like two people meeting again for the first time, just like she said. I think it's pretty clearly stated what she wants. Now you just have to decide if that's what you want.

She realizes that you two have had some issues in the past but she wants to start fresh and make the relationship work because she sees a possible future there and 2007 could be the start of a happy future for you two.

i sounds like the start of a new relationship. Meeting anew with who we are today, in this space, at this moment. Two people meeting again, (past relationship) of someone she thought about over the years, and is willing to try again with him.
