i was with my x for five years, her whole family came down to texas with us when we had our kid, her sisters loved us together and were on my side when we broke up. it wasnt a bad break up, we dont hate each other, still good friends. so why now when i see her sisters in public they act like they dont know me? how can i be family for five years, then just because im not with their sister im nobody? whats has changed, cause i know i didnt

that's just the way it goes. Family always comes first. Even if you didn't do anything or were nice to her sisters, just realize that THEY ARE HER SISTERS! To them, now, you're just some guy. I'm sure they are just trying to be loyal to their sister. That's all it is.

probably because their sister have move on with a different man and they are worried that if they continue to be close to you the new guy might be unconfortable

People are like that. My aunt cheated on her husband and her husbands mom was being weird and ignorant to my mom(not her fault),people are stupid.
