What do you think about it? I think it is the wrongful taking of a life and should be considered murder. I know that it is not mentioned anywhere in the constitution, so it should be up to the states to decide. What do you think about it?

My little brothers and sister were adopted kind-of. There was a couple who didn't want to have children, but they definatly didn't want to abort so they froze three embryos. They were implanted into my step-mom and in 8 months, I had two little brothers and a little sister. Four years later they are still cuties!

This is a personal choice and a personal opinion. Abortion is a hard choice and no one has the right to tell another person what to do with their body. I believe that everyone has the right to chose what is right for their life. No one knows the circumstances of another persons life and what leads to abortion as the decision. I say it is none of any ones business what I would choose to do with my body and my life. Abortion should NEVER be used as a form of birth control and I don't think any woman who is having sex is saying, well, if I get pregnant then screw it I will just go out and pay $700 for an abortion. I don't know one person who thinks this. I know women who have had abortions and their decision didn't come easily to them at all, they had abortions for various reasons, including health, financial difficulties, being abandoned, in college, didn't feel they could be a proper parent at the time, too young, had children already and couldn't take from them to give to another one. People will always have unplanned pregnancies, this has been happening since the beginning of time! And having an abortion doesn't make anyone a horrible person!
Oh, and abstinence is not realistic, studies have shown that!!

I agree with you thta it is taking a life and should be considered murder. In the county where I live, the health department offers birth control at little to no cost and will give it to girls under 18 without parental consent. So to me, if that is in place and you can use some type of prevention then there is no reason to say that the pregnancy is unplanned/unwanted as you had the choice. If you don't want to have a baby, then don't be stupid about it and don't have unprotected sex and all. I think it is seriously in our best interest to educate girls about the options available before using abortion as one of them. They are the only ones who have control of what they do or don't do and they need to be responsible for their actions at whatever age they decide to have sex. Abortion is murder and should be prosecuted!

I do not agree with abortion at all. With the technology that is out their they are seeing and hearing things a lot sooner than in the past. You make out features soooo early it is unreal. They are alive or they wouldn't grow inside of a woman. I don't support it and if someone doesn't want a child I think adoption is a much better choice because millions of people out there want children and for whatever reason can not have their own. This is my opinion on the abortion subject.

lol, someone said "cells are living things, so abortion is murder". i wonder, if ppl consider pulling a weed murder. or chopping down a tree that has been living here for over a hundred years. i believe in our right to choose. there are certain situations where u just cant have a baby. and lots of times it isnt the woman's fault she got pregnant. one person said even if she's raped she should have it? that is so awful. not only is the woman tormented by the fact that she was violated like that, but she needs to destroy her body, and bring a life into the world out of such a heinous crime. that is awful. and also when it isnt rape, having a baby just isnt an option for ppl. my bf has told me that if i were pregnant he would leave me and not support the baby, but he'd stay if i aborted it. the last thing i would need is my entire future destroyed, dropping out of college, living my whole life as a single mom, bc of his mistake. its ****** up. and its not friggin murder, its a simple little organism that has no perception of anything yet, and cant feel it. like a tree. although i feel for them :(

While I feel abortion is wrong, it should be up to the mother to decide. As a rule, people should strive to avoid abortions. Yet they should not be banned simply because they don't fit into someone's religion or personal beliefs. There is no certainty that putting a child up for adoption will result in such a good case as that for your younger brother and sister. You have a great family yet not everyone is so fortunate.

I believe this is a personal choice.....every woman has the right to choose when it's her body. Would I have an abortion? NO ( Just ask my 5 sons!) God gave us choice- who are we to take it away from another human? I don't believe in abortion as birth control,but I can't make that choice for someone else......that's something that they must live with and answer to.....

Its horrible its murder once the fetus is foming it is a life. Even if a girl is raped its murder, y should you make the child suffer it wasnt there fault. If you dont want to keep it for fear of the memories give it to a trusted adoption agency its better then death

I think abortion is a womans choice and why should we hve our rights and choices taken away when we worked so hard to get them in the first place...
I feel that if a woman gets pregnant and cant afford it then who is anyone to tell her shes wrong if she terminates the pregnancy?? It is her body and its her that will have to deal with the emotional things that Im sure come along with it..so in essence its her choice........

Abortion is murdering a humen life that is ment to be born.
If the girl was raped, she still needs to deliver that baby and put it in adoption.
If she regrets having unprotected sex, thats her problem, and she still needs to deliever that baby.
A Christian Girl wanting to do abortion, is a mortal sin. For breaking "Thy shall not kill"
