i have been modeling for about 6 months. My boyfriend and i have been together for about 2 years, but i started to model during the 3 months that we were broken up. i'm a part of a female car modeling group and when i mentioned the up-and-coming car show this weekend he totally flipped out. he called me a hooker and that i had to pick between him and modeling. (since the outfit i have to wear is hardly hooker-esque) I told him that there was nothing wrong with it and that i would continue because of the friends i have in it, the fun i have, and the money is a plus too! he doesn't seem to understand though. Please!!! give me advice as to what i should do!!

As someone who broke up with a girl who modeled, I can understand where he's coming from. But my situation was different.

I'm in NY. She spent 3-4 months a year in Italy for photo shoots and things... so it just wasn't a good fit. We dated for a couple of months and then she was leaving for Milan for a month.

I broke up with her the day before... because she's gonna be in Milan, surrounded by male models... and I'm gonna be alone, with my guy friends... and we'd both have been cheating. Why bother, just be friends.

Your boyfriend is just too jealous. You need to do things to assure him that it's just a job. Tell him that, "Yes, I do enjoy the attention of people looking at me, but that's all. The only hands I want touching me are yours."

No, by no ability do what some different person tells you, i tried to be a style once or maybe as i began wearing appealing outfits and having to take %. with diverse warm adult men. He were given soo pissed. i finished being a style yet now he needs to and he's telling me i more effective useful no longer get mad at him for being one. i imagine you may nonetheless be a style are literally not making an identical mistake, confer with him about it. tell him you pick to be a style and if he nonetheless receives mad or says you are able to't then you definitely could come across a sparkling bf. good success on your discision

Well, perhaps he is jealous that you are showing off your body to so many others. While he may find you to be attractive in both your body and personality, he's concerned that you'll only be "objectified" by the larger crowd of men. His concerns are for your safety and for the health of your relationship with you.

His comments may have been a bit crude, but I think he's just upset and cannot find the right words...

If he doesn't understand you then he isn't worth it. It doesn't sound wrong to me. Think about what you would rather give up. There are other jobs out there and there are other men out there. I can't really tell you what to do, just to think before you do it.

Seems like you have an ultimatum on your hands. Choose for yourself though.
