okay so my brother told me that love is like a war of dominance, i was a little dissapointed ..is that true??? are relationships really just about conquering your partner or having control?? thats seems TOTALLY LAME!!!

It depends on who you're talking about. Some men and women feel the need to dominate others in all types of relationships, whether it's a co-worker or a gym buddy - they feel the need to dominate. If that bothers you, then avoid those people because it's almost impossible to change they're natures.

It really depends on the people and what kind of relationship they want but love can be between two equals. In fact I believe that for marriage to work well, both partners should on equal footing.

it is totally lame, and your brother is a moron. relationships are about love and respect. any relationship not built around love and respect for one another is bound to fail. and relationships focused on dominance are very likely to become abusive in one or more forms.

No it is not. Love is not War.
Love is kind, patient, compassionate, not selfish and it is definitely not War. If someone wants to control or manipulate then that is certainly NOT love.
