There's a guy that I like at my high school. I have a lot of classes with him and I get really shy when I'm around him. I finally got the nerve to ask him if he wanted to go to a movie. He blushed and said that he had no idea that I liked him. He also said he was complimented. I think my friend overheard that he has a girlfriend that goes to a different school.
Was he interested or do you think he blushed because I put him in an awkward situation?
I'm just curious!

It happens. I'm sure he blushed because he enjoyed the compliment, and was caught off guard. You may have put him in an awkward situation, and that of course, is because he barely knows you. If he didn't give you a straight answer when you asked him, you might have to ask again. First find out if he has a girlfriend, because that wouldn't be cool to ruin their relationship. I'm sure he'll tell you if he does or doesn't have a girlfriend.

Of course, blushing has nothing to do with being around someone you like. You can blush around the person you hate most in this world.
There's a million and four known reasons for humans to blush, the attraction of another person is only 1 of those.

He blushed because he's a little boy who is probably interested but turns to cardboard like good people do because dating is a sensitive subjet and he just wants to get it right.
He's probably interested - did he say no? Who cares about the other girlfriend. Kids will date and breakup and date again. Just make sure you like him and he's not a prick before trusting him.

Did he say no to your invitation? It sounds like he may like you, but if he has a girlfriend then that would definitely hold him back from saying yes. If he does have a girl then that would probably put him in an awkward situation, but if he never really answered yes or no to your question then it sounds like he was definitely tempted... Good luck!

Some guys blush any time a girl is nearby. Ask him if he has a girlfriend. If he says no, let him know you are single, too.

He is interested. As for the girlfriend at the other school, you may want to ask if he's available for coffee or something after school and see how he responds.

I would say that a blush is a sign that he's interested. If he didn't like you, you'd know it by his body language and manerisms. No hiding that I'm affraid.

all guys are different, but it sounds as if he does really like you. find out about this other girl, then give it another shot!
