a guy aquaitance of mine called me last night after 6 whole weeks of not hearing from him and his only excuse was hes been very busy working 2 jobs.he says he hasnt had time for him self let alone anyone else.i do have conseteration for his situation but i still dont see it as a valid enough reason for not contacting me for that long.i honestly dont want to stay in contact with him any longer not just because of this but because i see im not a priority nor important to him and because hes very immature and its a huge turn off.whats the best way to tell him or should i just avoid him and let him get the msg that way?

Next time you hear from him let him know he can take your number out of his phone...and be honest that if he's so busy there are 6 wk gaps in communication then you're not interested in staying in touch and y'all don't really have much in common anyway...then wish him well and let that be that.

If he is just an acquaintance why do you care about hearing from him so much. He does not owe you anything. And nonetheless,he's been very busy. When people are very busy, they prioritize from most to least important. As i understood, you are not a girlfriend or a family member. Why would he call you very often. Has the pattern of calling you changed? Has he stopped calling you when he used to all the time? If so, tell him how you feel about it. Furthermore, I do not think you should sever the relationship since it is just an acquaintance. Call him and ask him how he is doing, that you have not heard from him wondering if he was ok. I think in you heart you consider him more than an acquaintance. He might not see you this way. If it were the case, he would have called you more often

no, just be honest so you can get out of this situation ASAP. because who says he'll get the message? just go to the point and say you dont want to have a relationship with him and it's better to cut ties now than later.
