That is not required, Jesus paid the price for us. If you were in the military, lets say in Iraq, and you were a soldier, lets say a friend of yours did something to save your life, but in the process lost his. You would feel grateful to him, but I hardly think that you would say,"well, because my friend died in my place I think I will just go kill myself to show how much I appreciate what he did for me". No, you would go back home and live a good life to honour your friend. If it is just that you want us all dead that is a sorry feeling on your part. However, God has told us we all have an appointment with death someday, including you. Will you be ready to meet Him one day young person? With that anger you sound like you, like we Christians, need a Savior. It's a free gift for you, to just believe in Jesus and be saved from eternal separation from God, your Creator.

We ARE asked by Jesus, to pick up our cross, and follow him. We are dying to a way of life, and having to sacrifice all the time. It is not any picnic, but the sacrifice is nothing compared to the gift. Even if we were willing to die for our own sins, it wouldn't work, we are sinful and our sacrifice isn't sufficient. Mad at the rules? Don't look at me, I am just a messenger!

Jesus died for us, so that we can live eternally. I have chosen to live for Him. That is what we are do to thank Jesus for His sacrifice. We are to be living sacrifices holy and acceptable to Him. Cannot please Him without accepting His Son as our salvation, but once we do, then we can change and live our lives for Him

Because I was made to worship Him, not die for Him.

He died for you just as much as He died for me.
