Do some of you consider yourself to be seasonal christians?

You mean luke warm? No, and no one should ever be. Why would you set Jesus on a book shelf on some days? Does God do that with those He loves? No! Of course not. God wants all of us all the time. We are to be constantly keeping our minds on Him and the things above. It is hard in this day and age to have our minds centered on Christ Jesus- but with Jesus living in us, it is possible! I want to wake up EVERY single day and give glory to God. I want Him to guide my every step and teach me His wisdom. I want nothing more than to follow my Lord and Saviour each and every day...and I hope and pray christians out there feel the same! I do not think a seasonal christian is truly saved- if they are willing to hide God in their lives during some parts of the year to please the world.....their trust is clearly not in God....but rather they want to please themselves.

No, I actually had a really hard time this Christmas because I felt like its so commercialized.
It is Jesus birthday not ours, why do we get presents?! we should have been giving Jesus presents...and since we cant give him material things we should be giving him the gift of love to others, helping others, guiding others.

Not sure what that even means. But there have been long-standing jokes about "C&E Christians" (meaning that you only see them in church on Christmas and Easter). However, I'm not one of them. You'll see me in church pretty much year-round.
