The exercise balls are the exact same material that the therapy balls are made of. I'm 230 pounds and it holds me just fine. My son's therapist weighed more than me.

I did a search on google.com and aparently the amount supported is varied from ball to ball. Some held up to 300 pounds, while others went to 250. When in doubt, contact the company.

I have read on some of them its 900 lbs. I have seen people 250 lbs squat 225 lbs standing on them . plus i do dumbbell bench presses with 110 in each hand and Im 250lbs while laying on them so it has to be at least 500 lbs.

I coul bet lower than my mother-in-law's weight.
(It could probably support a ford escort, but you should see my mother-in-law)


Actually, I looked into a website selling the "FitBall", and it was tested to about 600 lbs.

I would say 180lbs. because mines flat that I used weighing 182! lol
