If you can give me a fax number, I'd be happy to send you the booklet that our officiant gave us to custom-pick our ceremony wording. Email-daisygirl196537@yahoo.com

asking how to write vows is not good because it doesn't come from you and it doesn't come from your heart. The only thing we can tell you is that vows are usually about how you feel about the person & if they bring out the best in you, what, when, where & how. The rest you have to piece together on your own. Vows are sacred as much as marriage, the words you say to each other on your special day will remain in your mind & hearts forever. As far as the wedding service, i say....do not have a big wedding, have a small wedding and save the money for a BIG honeymoon. I think big weddings are beautiful but a waste of money. The money is better off spent on a good honeymoon or stashed away in your savings account to help with the future. Unless of course, you are RICH & money is no object. I'm just giving advice, that's all. Congrats to both of you & good luck!

Are you writing the ceremony? Or just your vows?
Where is your officiant? Why aren't you in contact with him/her?
If you are trying to write your vows, go someplace quiet & just write what's in your heart. After awhile get away from it.
When you go back to it, you will probably have quite a few snipets to take from what you've written to compose a wonderful vow.
Make your vow between 30-60 seconds. Any longer & people beging to think that you just like tohear yourself talk. Got more to say? Save it for when you're alone.
As far as the ceremony adress, you should have ideas, suggestions & input. Even have a choice of convoction, ring blessing, etc. But your officiant should be writing the ceremony. It's ONE of the things for which we get paid.

remember a funny cute thing she does that only you notice, where you went and held hands all day, talk about what you want and look forward to in the future and for the love of all that is holy don't make stupid jokes, this is meant to be whimsical and cherished words not seinfeld having his best hour. Good luck and congrats!! big hugs

"Do you take this dude, even though he needs a bath and shave most of the time...?
"Do you take this chick, even though she says "Like" before every sentence...?"
