Sometimes cats just go through a stage where they want people to stay away from them, cats like to have there space sometimes....hope it helps a bit..

It can be their personality, or they may feel unwell. I adopted a 14 year old cat with a back problem - he is the most lovely boy and I love him to bits but he can be so grumpy at times (perhaps sometimes because he might feel unwell) - we just give him a wide berth when he's like that - he gets over it. Saying that he is the most friendly cat I have ever had and he goes up to everyone to say hello. I guess you accept them warts and all as they are one of the family.

it cud be sick my cat got grouchy last week and looked really ill and was very ethargic we took her to vet and they sed she was quite ill, she had liver infection wich is hopefllu nrly better and kidney probs and will need njection evry 3weeks or special diet
if ur cat aint better in a day or so take it to the vet -unless ur cat is always grouchy then it cud just be a moody cat

Maybe it's sick or just wants to be left alone. Cats are not like dogs, they don't like to be bothered all the time. If it is not fixed, please do so asap. If it was in heat, it wouldn't be grouchy. They get really affectionate at that time and only females go in heat.

i would give it a day or so if she/he is still grouchy or seems ill take it to the vet to be sure there is nothing wrong good luck x

It could be worms or its not getting the attension he wants... Give him extra cuddles and buy some cat nip make sure he has milk and food.. :D
