My cat looks like a marble cake ..he thinks cool whip or white icing would go perfect with his white paws and white chest (he's very conceited, rightfully so).

Should I go ahead and indulge his fantasy?

If so, how would I go about slathering it on him?

If you think I shouldn't do this, how do I let him down easily (this is his only request of me in 5 years!)

Maybe you could fill the tub with icing or whip and the two of you role around in it till your hearts content - you are kidding right? Who's in charge is my question?

Hi there...I have one cat who will just about eat anything if given a chance. Years ago I thought it would be harmless to offer him an occasional bite or two, however I've discovered from my veterinarian who is also my best friend that there are many human foods containing ingredients which can be toxic to a cat ingested over time and others downright lethal. I even learned that tuna causes enteritis in cats because it causes vitamin deficiencies. You could let your cat down by offering him treats specifically designed for your kitty. Then he can still enjoy the priviledges of tasty treats that are safe for him.

Here's a sample list of some of the human foods that are dangerous to cats:

Sugar is not very good for cats. My kitty always begs for whip cream too, but he's diabetic and I know better. I know it's hard to deny him something, but you have to. I found a great cat treat that he loves to give him instead. He comes running as soon as he hears the bag. Try these...

Lol.... well you could indulge his fantasy only in moderation. You don't want to give him too much as it can make him sick.

Tell him that he can indulge in the fantasy only once ever so often, if he is a good kitty.

Just place small amounts of cool whip (i dont recommend icing) on his pretty, perfect paws, let him admire it and do what he must. Take pictures too, maybe you can convince him that it doesnt flatter him as he might think.

This is not something that you should give to your cat. My Hubby gives our Male cat a dab of whipped cream on occasion, but I am not fond of him doing this. However unless they have a medical condition,a very small dollop of whipped cream would not hurt him.

Well if you are talking about feeding your cat this, it will be ok as long as you just give it to him as a treat every once in awhile, too much will make him sick. Now if you are talking about covering him in it well something is a little wrong with that picture, maybe give him a bubble bath instead.

Indulge it only if you want a fat cat who may not live very long, otherwise try introducing him to cat treats. The icing has too much sugar and fat in it. Their metabolism can't handle things like ours can.

no it could upset the cat's stomach and make the cat very sick just stick to the dry foods. give him/her a can of tuna maybe that would take his mind off of cool whip.

You've got some issues. Perhaps a few visits with a therapist would help.
