This pain is not extreme, but is in exactly the same spot every time. I have had this for a few months now. I don't notice that it occurs more often at any point in a day, but I normally feel it three to four times a day. Sometimes, I can be laying down and turn a certain way and it will produce the same sharp pain.

The pain does not make me double over (or I would go to the doctor), but I am concerned it might be my pancreas. Since I have not had extreme pain, and if it were the pancreas, would this heal on its own? All info I could find on pain in the pancreas would be severe if it were a notable condition...

What else could cause recurrent pain in the exact same spot for awhile? When I push in the spot to pinpoint it exactly, I don't feel anything under the skin that hurts. THANKS

I have had that when I am constipated. I have to make sure I drink at least 2 quarts of water a day and eat right or it comes back. Mine may not be the same thing for you, though. Go to http://www.webmd.com/ and do the symptom checker and see what you find out.

It's next to impossible to give an accurate response to your question without knowing exactly where the pain is. Have you had surgery in the past? Do you have food alleriges or intolerance? Do you do heavy labor? Or are you a weekend athlete?

Get checked out by a doctor to determine what it could be. Your health shouldn't be relied on other opinions. Only a doctor can determine what is causing the pain and your health is not a game.

what side? Right side is appendix.
Or you could have an ulcer. You shouldn't put it off, whatever it is could get worse then you'd be in bigger trouble. I just went thru this too but for other reasons. Don't wait you'll be thankful. Good luck!

if the pain is the lower right area, see a doctor. it might be appendicitis. if it is everywhere, it might be a gas build up or a stomach virus.

Where in your abdomen is it? Upper-right quadrant pain can be your gallbladder, lower-right can be your appendix, etc.

You should talk to your doctor about it.
