It simply means she's not interested in having a relationship. If she wanted to date someone, she would. If given the opportunity and she truly was interested but happened to be busy at that moment (for when she was asked to go out) she would have left an opening to be asked out again for another time.
If she isn't seeing anyone, it means she's not looking for a relationship. Take care and don't worry about it, there are plenty of single people out there. :)

It could be one of those things where the girl is so into being popular that she will actually say no to you just because her friends wont think its very kool to date a junior......i kno it sux but if she is that kinda girl lose her.... but since she never had a boyfriend before...she could be scared.....or her mom says she cant date cuz of grades or some kinda reason like that.......im sorry tho cuz that really sux..... ive been the same situation like that except it was a guy that didnt want me for that reason......it hurts and im really sorry........u should still be friends tho.....

It means she's not interested but doesn't want to just come out and say 'no.' In other words, she doesn't want to invest the time and effort to develop a more serious relationship - maybe she's not ready right now, or you just don't appeal to her. Appreciate whatever friendship you have and move on; there are plenty of other women and you're still young.

It means that she is to involved in her own BS (erm... life) to consider the possibility that she might actually have a good time going out on a date with you.
Hopefully, she will one day see the light before she becomes an old maid with a house full of cats.

If you really like this girl, ask her once more. If she says, "I don't have time" again, say, "Do you mean you don't have time right now, or never?" If she says,"Never" well then you have your answer, she is not into you. If she says, "Well, right now" then say, "Well, you have to eat sometime, don't you?" And invite her to have lunch, or just a quick slice of pizza, something very simple. She may be very shy and, since she never a boyfriend, also very nervous. She may not be sure of herself or you and she might have a low self esteem.
I would say, give it one more try and don't take it personal if she says no, just move on.

I wouldn't ask her out again. I'd find another interest. If she doesn't have time then she didn't think you were great enough to make time for. Someone else will think differently, so I'd find another interest and boost your self-esteem that way. Don't waste your pride on someone not interested enough to make time for you. This is not the movies where the girl is chased and then gives in.

She could be telling the truth and she doesn't have the time. Some people have many things on their minds and relationships just take the low man on the totem pole.

there could be many reasons...one, she already told you that she doenst have time, could be the truth...two, shes a senior and you're a junior, most seniors wouldnt want to be caught with a junior or freshman......three, it could be that she just doesnt want you and is trying to avoid telling you this outright because she is a punk and cant tell you like a real woman

I would say she is busy concentrating on school, and her job. If anything she really doesn't have time for you right now (No offense). She just needs time to herself to concentrate on things that need to be done. Give her another try when you two are on vacation. Good Luck. - Luke
