What is the best alternative to Outlook for email, diary and contact list?

I have MS Office 2000 Professional and use Outllook for email, diary and contacts and sync this with my Nokia 6680. Microsoft no longer supports Office 2000 and it sometimes causes problems. Microsoft Works is now adequate for most of my needs but doesn't have an organiser. My PC has Windows XP Professio0nal Media Center edition
