I'm trying to say this in Japanese, but the way i say it always confuses Japanese people.

"For hyperacusis sufferers Sounds that may not be loud to normal people are painfully loud to us"

"Hyperacusis ga nakattara aru oto wa daijobu desuga sono onaji oto wa Hyperacusis ga aru hitobito ni wa tsurai desu.."

i know it's wrong
so how do i say it? any help would be appreciated

I didn't translate it literally because it would sound awkward Japanese if I did so. Therefore I changed your sentence a bit.

Hyperacusisを患っている人は、
通常の人が大きくないと感じる音を、
すごく大きな不快な音と感じます。

In romaji,

"Hyperacusis" wo wazuratte iru hito wa, tuujyo no hito ga ookiku nai to kanjiru oto wo, sugoku ookina fukai na oto to kanji masu.

It is literally translated into English like this.

People who suffer from hyperacusis hear those sounds loud painfully which are not loud to normal people.
