I need to upgrade because of dsl requirements and I need to know what all i need to upgrade the system.

well first off, you must obtain a copy of windows 2000. I myself am running 2000, and its 30 times better than windows 98. after you get a copy of windows 2000, its all a matter of inserting the cd, and going through the prompts, it will ask if you would like to upgrade, and you go through the questions. get a cup of coffee or something because it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to install. you can get a copy of windows 2000 from staples or any office supply store. or you can borrow it from a friend.

just reformat ur pc and instead of installing the windows 98 , use ur desired os

the operating system CD. You need to buy it although they normally cost around 100 USD.

Why not go to XP? Either 1 they sell the software, just down load it. Good luck.

You just have to install win2000.
