This fight is hard to predict. Marquez has a style that could give anyone trouble but Barrera has become an excellent technician himself. Barrera has already proven himself and his legacy is rock solid. If he beat Marquez then he becomes even more of a legend. If Marquez beats Barrera it helps alot with his legacy. Marquez really doesn't have any great defining wins only a draw with Manny. If he beats Barrera badly then he maybe can look at the HOF one day but if not he will be forgotten.

What do you all think, who wins and what does it mean to the winner?

well, marquez is a good fighter, with good power and good counterpunchin abilities. im expecting him to be the aggressor in this fight because barrera's style now is move and box, and try not to get into a brawl, which was the case in his last couple of fights. i think marquez is going to win this one because he hasn't been in too many wars, is still relatively fresh, and is going to be hungrier because a win will give him the recognition he wants. barrera on the other hand, is probably already a shoe-in for the hall of fame so even if he loses this fight it won't matter too much. i'm gonna say marquez by unanimous decision.

JMM has really been overshadowed by MAB and Erik Morales throughout these years... if he is to go on and beat MAB and Pacman, then he will set his mark as one of the top fighters in his weight class. He destroyed the upcoming Jimrex Jaca though he had a nasty cut. Its a good stepping stone to get to Pacquioa and then Barrera. After all, Erik Morales is looking for one more fight... what if JMM is to beat Barrera and Pacquiao and then loses to Morales? haha!
