Yes. You take drug tests to go to MEPS and you take a drug test at basic. Good luck at jackson

You will definately be tested at MEPS, and also when you arrive at Ft. Jackson. If you have a problem, the best thing to do is talk to your recruiter about it, they are still responsible for you since you haven't been to training yet.

Our son got tested at MEPS the day he shipped out and then again when he arrived at Great Lakes a few hours later. Guess they wanted to make sure he didn't get high at the airport? ha!

Get used to taking LOTS of drug tests in the military.

If you are a user, I hope you get caught. I would not want a druggie serving in my military.

You will be drug tested and you will also have to submit to random drug tests whenever you are told to.

I can't remember if it was in the recuiting station or at Basic. (Lackland for AF)
