It doesn't really hurt, except sometimes i get a headache and the cough couldn't be worse. It's bad all the time. I don't feel sick other then that tho, feel pretty healthly. Can't laugh at anything or anyone anymore cause I just sends me into a coughing fit.

Maybe you have bronchitis? That happened to me a few months ago. Does your chest hurt when you cough, and is the cough worse at night?

I've never heard of flonase being prescribed for a productive cough. Did the doctor suggest your problem was allergies?
If so it could be the mucous you are coughing up is a result of post nasal drip, in which case the flonase will start working after about three weeks of usage. Takes time to build a level. Is the mucous white? Then just keep using the flonase. Is the mucous colored? There is more going on and the doctor needs to reassess her diagnosis.

You probably have bronchitis. Your doctor should give you a prescription for an antibiotic like Levaquin. Bronchitis can take several (like up to 6) weeks to clear up, so it's important to be patient, and even though you don't feel sick, make sure you drink lots of water and get plenty of rest.

A good OTC remedy is also Mucinex. You can find it in just about any local drugstore, but I find that it's cheapest to buy at Drugstore.com

I too have had this happen and it comes and goes. For some reason some of us seem to create more mucus than others. I use Robitussin for cough & mucus relief.

Sounds like bronchitis to me...you might need an antibiotic to get back on top of it. I used Mucinex DM, and I got better much quicker than usual.

if you are still coughing maybe your lungs are affected. or maybe is something with your neck. go to the doctor again and tell him/ her your symptoms. don't be scared or something. I'm sure it is not a big problem. I wish you to be healthy!
