I like how jacknives really work my abs, but when I do them it feels like my neck muscles are straining, even when I try to focus on relaxing my neck and just using my abs. Is there something I can use to support my head/neck? Thanks so much!

Try doing the plank to strengthen your core. Lift with your shoulders. Isolate your core, imagine its trying to run away. Hold it there and squeeze.

You can put a pillow or a rolled up towel behind your neck since you do not have to let your head completely return to the floor when coming out of your crunches.
