yes. i have quite a number of atheist friends, and so took the time to see their side, to ask myself if G-d really does exist. The year i took pondering that question pretty much ruined me for religion, but strengthened my faith in G-d. Also, the more astronomy and higher mathematics i took, the stronger my faith got.

Do you ever question your belief in your own father or mother? No, you don't, because you know for certain that they exist. The same is true for my Father God. I know for certain that He is real, so there is no point in questioning that. The questioning only comes before you meet Him. We do apply reason to our faith, we are told to be prepared to give a reason for the hope that we have. I can have an intelligent debate about what I believe because I know that I know that I know. I don't question God anymore than I question the existence of my cat.

I bet 90 percent of them lied. If you are a normal human being you will quesiton at sometime your believe. Some people are brainwashed from a very young age. Most people like see themselves in a positive way, so they will answer questions positive.
I myself, being normal, have asked the questions. But then I met somebody who showed my how to look and listen and how to ask.
Since then I have seen and experienced enough to know. I sometime feel sorry for the ones who just believe without seeing.
I will give you one story. Afew hours before my mother passed away I saw a face in the sky looking at her bed room and I felt/knew she would be pickup soon.
I hope this answers your question.

There was, at one time, over 95% of the world's population who had the wrong idea about the earth, whether it was floating, being held by pillars, flat, the solid center of the universe....what have you. Isn't much easier to believe that those who had an idea closer to our understanding of the earth were the ones who were delusional? There was a time that 95% of the population believed that diseases were caused by divine wrath. A very small minority thought that sanitation had anything to do with it. Isn't it much easier to believe that those who thought good hygiene were the delusional ones rather than the majority of mankind?

I have questioned it. I thought for a while that it all just sounded too crazy to be true. I came to realize though, that God acknowledges that His plan sounds nutty. He knows that some people will have a hard time believing it. That's just where faith comes in.

yea im currently going through alot of different thoughts about life and the like. but it's just human nature. part of the reason is because people want answers and they can only get answers from science, logic, common sense etc. with religion its pretty much just faith. im acctually starting to feel like in the back of my mind the only reason i believe in god and most of Christianity is because im scared of what will happen when i die. but, theres nothing i can do, death is a part of life and it's a waste of time to think about it so much instead of living.

Sure I did. I'm a christian and I'm not afraid to admit it.
It took time, study, and prayer until I realized that it was real. There's always a 'what if' but that's where faith comes in.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

No, I never doubted because the evidence in my own life just kept saying that it had to be. I don't believe in coincedent, but that I am in God's plan for me personally. God proved Himself to me personally way too many times for me to doubt.
