Many places will offer a phone number for people who are leery of giving out their credit card number on line. Honestly though, I have been purchasing things and using my credit cards on line for well over 15 years and Never once have I had a problem. The sights you give your information on are usually Secure.

An added note, my sis just found out that someone had been charging up her card.....they got her info from a charge she made at a 'brick and mortar' store not from online (over $2500 before her credit company called her with suspicions) So, it can happen anywere.

Then you don't subscribe! Simple as that.

If you're dealing with a trustworthy site, there is zero risk with on-line transactions. I've been buying on-line since before most folks had heard about the Internet and have NEVER had a problem.

You're much more likely to run into problems with theft of your account details at a brick-and-mortar store than from an on-line retailer.
