* Schneb doesn't get the word on the street from millions of Christians. We all believe God pulls the strings. We believe we are judged by God. God decides all. God decides just like on this site. You either get play and you get either a thumbs up or thumbs down. But God doesn't work with a committee. We believe God wieghs the evidence and gives you a thumbs up or thumbs down. Thumbs down and you are in the flaming brimstone the preaches and priest describe. Your hippie babble about you choose is hooky. Plus, you didn't come close to addressing the question.

You will not get a direct answer for this.
What you will get is that people "choose" to burn forever in hell.
It's silly, but they've got to say something....

I will answer your first question. I will use as many words as I wish. God does not "put" anyone in "hell". The Bible terms for hell are sheol, (Hebrew) and hades (greek). They mean the common GRAVE of imperfect humanity. The state of being DEAD. No suffering no torture no conscienceness at all. The Bible speaks of a way out of Sheol and Hades and that is resurrection, (John 5:28, 29 & Acts 24:15)

"The wages sin pays is death" says Romans 6:23
God told Adam and Eve "in the day you eat from it, (The prohibited tree) you wil positively die" [not be thrown into firey conscience torment].

God put perfect people in a garden on a perfect earth and told them to turn the whole earth into a garden. He did not put them in a burning firery place of torment.

The bible does not teach a burning hell, so there is no benefit. Hell is the common grave of mankind. God wants everyone to live forever.

It's the religion of the region. Just like certain races in certain areas. They have been there a long time.

God wants NO ONE in Hell, but since He is perfect and sinless, He cannot be near sin. He gives us a choice. If He forced everyone to love Him so we all end up in Heaven, what kind of love is that? Everyone is a sinner, but those who are repentant and accept Jesus Christ's sacrifice for their sins are considered pure in the eyes of God, and allowed to enter into Heaven with Him. This is how much he doesn't want His people to go to Hell, he provided a free Gift of salvation to everyone! He knew that we were imperfect and could not keep all of the laws of the OT all of the time. Even though I have accepted the gift of salvation in Christ, It still amazes me though that He would even allow me near Him, I am so imperfect. Quite humbling, really.

Some would say that He doesn't put them in hell, they put themselves there. That's the beauty of free choice.

Christianity is actually growing faster outside of Western countries. Islam seems to be growing greater in Western areas.

None, he would rather everyone accept and believe in him. They won't so they decide where they want to go Heaven or Hell. Salvation is a free gift anyone can receive it no matter what you have done. Read John 3:16.

God does not put anyone in hell. God has made a free way of escape from it. Whether we take it or not is our own freewill choice.

Hell is a place that is totally absent of God's light and love. If you do not want anything of God, He will grant your request.

As for the demographics of your question. It is of no use. Jesus warns to not go the path of what is popular, for that road leads to death. Rather, choose the narrow way, for it is through this way that eternal life is found.

Hell is eternal separation from God. I haven't done a study on hell and what it says about it in the Bible. One thing for sure, though, the choice is yours. God has provided the perfection through Jesus, all you have to do is accept the gift.

God doesn't get satisfaction from 'sending' souls to Hell. But apparently, you get satisfaction out of making that accusation.

As to demographics, that is a function of statistics, not religious efficiency.

God is a sick, sadistic bastard - at least that's how Christians have portrayed him to convert "sinners."

Because religion is a man-made construct, people interacting in one place all follow one trend of thought, naively thinking they know the "truth."
