I had an online relationship that started out with some pretty major lies. I told him that I forgive him, but it was too much. But then again, he didn't want it to work, so I don't think he put forth the effort that I did. If you both genuinely want to be together, just apologize to each other, forgive each other, and yes, you can move forward. Good luck.
Some people lie, btw, because they never believe that the conversation will get passed round one. No one expects to fall in love with someone online, but every now & then, the unexpected happens. My friends met online & they are getting married. It's a great relationship!

Well I think that you should try to find that person and tell them the truth but don't give out to much personal info

Why the hell do people lie? I don't get it. Of all the places in the world you can be free to say whatever the hell you want to say, this is it. There is hope if this person wants to forgive you. Why don't you ask him or her.

why would anyone want to be with someone who lies to them about something as basic as their age, and other things? You've proven yourself to be a liar and that's not attractive to many normal people.

depends all on the person.
if the lie hurt them a lot- and they aren't over it yet, chances are slim.
if it was something that is forgivable or at least not all that horrible, then you could have a chance.
