Well Bill, I'm glad you asked. The starches naturally found in cauliflower causes it to stale and in turn softens the vegtable. So your answer would be no the cauliflower is not good to eat if its a bit softer than when bought.

yes, its still good
if u use it for dipping
u can firm it up a bit by
boiling some water, when the water is boiled put the cauliflower
in, turn off the stove
and now pour all the hot water away
and rinse in cold water

Yes, but fresh streamed cauliflower is the best. It keeps it's flavor, and has more nutrients.

make sue you cook it as long there is no black spots on it your ok
wash it good ,cut it up and cook it
