Like a Celtic cross on my forearm. I'm expecting to pay around 150 bucks. On average, how much should I be charged?

A professional tattoo artist charges about $100 an hour. On some pieces they will quote you a price before it is timed, but beware of people who compete by cutting prices. It is a lifetime investment and you might as well pay to have it done right.

Depends on what 'medium sized' means, how much ink will be used, amount of time needed to complete the work as well as the tattoo artist themselves.

I'm expecting you won't find a good answer here, so you really should call a tattoo shop, stop in for an appointment and as the artist who will be tattooing it how much he or she will be charging you.

there is no average cost. it all depends on what you get, how detailed possibly how long it takes. or some places just give flat rates for tattoos. my aritst charges $100 an hour. but he doesn't do generic tattoos. all of the tattoos that he does are custom one of a kind pieces and most take atleast two hours to do. in 2006 i had about 15 hours of work done. good luck with your cross.

It depends on the artist.....I am getting one in 3 weeks that's $700....but another place told me $125-150. Chose to go to the more expensive guy because I felt good about getting tattooed by him and of his reputation as a tattoo artist. Also, because it's a portrait, I want it to look perfect.

With tattoos - you get what u pay for...

It will depend on the shop doing the tattoo. If they have a high rep, they might charge a little more. All tattoos are negotiable, though. If you don't like the price, you can leave and search other places, or you could even try the.....Ok, thanks, but they said they would do it for ???? Use another shop against them, even if you never got pricing from that shop. They will not call them, and if they will not do it for that price, they will tell you that you can get it done there.

This all depends on the tattoo shop you go to. You should call some places and/or go in for a more specific price.

Celtic pieces often cost more money cause of the detail, but you should get a good piece done for $150.00 , I have many tattoos and must say their addicting.

Face. No, I'm kidding. I do not feel that is what you had in brain. Arm is generally the exceptional position. It may also be noticeable all yr however it is usually convenient to cover. Other offerings would be: Neck, ankle/foot relying on what form of footwear you put on, fingers.
