I met a woman about 3 weeks ago online, I don't like to, but it sort of just happened. Anyway, I spoke with her online for about a week, got her number, and have spoke with her off and on for about a week and a half. She says that she is comfortable talking to me and that I make her feel comfortable, and our personalities get along really well. I am at the point to where I would like to ask her out on a date and meet her, but last night when I spoke with her, I felt like that paticular moment wasn't the right one. My question is, what is your take on this? Is it too early to ask her out?

You should definitely do that as soon as you get the opportunity. It's always better to know if you're wasting your time early on. And if she turns out to be just the way you've imagined her, than you can take your relationship further immediately. In 3D!

well you said you didn't feel l ike the moment was right, so it probably wasn't. I'd say to go with your instinct and just ask her when you feel it's right. I mean it's not too early to ask her out. Assume you'd already met her in person and then decide if you think you may see something happening with her. You have her number and you've talked on the phone. So I'd say go for it, but only when you felt it was right.good luck!

No, if you think you might be getting feelings for her, the sooner you meet her to find out if there is any chemistry, the better. Have heard to many horror stories from guys have dated about the women they have met online so not like they expected them to be in person and thankful I was honest with them, like one woman sent a pic when she was 20 years and 200lbs thiner, and other that was 19 and thought they were going to get married because he told her she looked pretty in her photo.

i met my guy online too. like you, it sort of just happened. we chatted online and over the phone etc... good thing was, we met the moment we had the chance, to see if our friendship would be genuine in person because its a different ballgame when youre talking to someone eye to eye. that was 15mos ago.
it also depends if you have to travel for hours to reach her... if shes far away and will cost you an arm or leg to get to her, take your time and know her more. if shes near, go for it. thats better than wondering every night what shes like in the flesh---or if shes the 'right one'.

Not really. Make it easy, by asking her if she would like to meet just as friends. Tell her there is no pressure and you can just grab a cup of coffee and talk about whatever it is you have in common. For example, "would you like to grab a cup off coffee and talk about art?"

Make it as informal as possible. That will help to ease the tension.

I don't believe it is too early. Possibly, when she explains that she is comfortable, its probably a hint thats she is ready to meet you. I would call her later tonight, see how she is feeling, if she's in a good mood; tell her you'd like to take her out to a nice dinner.
