I had a tetanus a couple of months ago,,down to the fact that my friends parrot nearly ripped my ear off,,ok slight exaggeration but he bit right through the front of my ear at the top,,so the hospital stitched it and gave me a tetanus in my butt cheek,,it didn't hurt,so be brave,i don't like needles Iver :-)

It goes in the arm. I'm just like you. I HATE jabs. The best method I've found is to let the arm in question go completely limp by your side and to look away. It helps a lot.
I once had to have anthrax jabs. They were nasty. The initial doses had to be administered in 6 different doses over a few months. I was back at the med centre to get the next top-up before I knew it. I hated that so much! This limp arm method worked very well for that though!

It is an intra-muscular injection where ever it is given. Depends on the doc or nurse, but the upper arm is more usual. If it is given after an injury in a limb, then often it is given into the muscle in the limb above it,but as a routine , in the arm. (U.K.)Also, if you can let the receiving limb go entirely floppy, you will have less stiffness and discomfort afterwards.

Muscle, usually the arm or buttocks. The needle is tiny, you'll be ok. Just tell the nurse not to warn you, just jab it in.

It can go in the arm or the butt cheek. If you are squeemish around needles I suggest the latter as you wont have any chance of seeing it. And I promise you wont feel more than a tiny scratch

The arm (shoulders) or the buttocks. If you are not concerned about pain, then why be concerned about the needle? It'll be over in a flash.

Yes the tetanus shot is an IM shot, or intramuscular if you want the correct spelling. The shot itself isn't too bad, it depends on the technique of the person giving the shot.

pay interest on your dr! also do not project about if you're small or no longer, in case your dr. says you're ok. i'm 27 weeks pregnant and that i have not received a lot weight both. as long as you're ingesting healthful and your dr. says the toddler is arising, you're ok. i'm assuming that a tetanus jab is a tetanus shot. i might want to ask my dr. about it, yet i'm particular they are going to allow you to comprehend in case you want some thing.

arm or bottom. Mine was in the arm. I suppose you could ask for either/or if there's one place you'd rather have it. I think I'd rather have it in the arm. Your bum will be slightly sore at the injection site and you have to sit there, so ask for the arm!
