Well, 3 years isn't all that long...

Become a male exotic dancer instead :)

No to both questions. You should only become a priest if faith guides you there---not because you have only been celibate. Celibacy is not silly...it is smart. Just look at all the STD questions here on Yahoo Answers.

As for you not having a date for 3 years...it has been dependent on you and the situation(s) surrounding you. With all relationships there is the element of risk and trust. I have no idea about your past relationships, if you have had them...and what their situations were...but, more than likely the answer has a lot to do with your motivation now. Get yourself out there and live life...pray to the Big G if you do want a companion, help the Big G out, and love yourself. Good luck!

How were you feeling when you ask this?
I'm sure on some kind of depression, You haven't date cause you haven't find a worth person, nothing wrong with that, because everyone dates doesn't mean you have to date too.
I don't know how old you are, or maybe you focusing to much in dating that not dating is killing you.
Try to use your time use full way., doing things that you enjoy at the mean time you may meet someone special.
I don't know your religion but begin a priest or a pastor is a serious desission that is taken for other complete reasons.

do you want to be one? Just because it's been that long? Many things happen to a person when a relationship ends. You need to find yourself before finding someone else, never give up on time even if you go on one date then not see anyone for a time frame. Do something for yourself, get a dog go for walks meet people. Take night classes? Find a sport you like, when you go out that's when you meet people even talk to your friends, cosmo had an article to write a group e-mail to friends and see if there is someone they know that would be great for you. Ask your friends they might have a cousin or friend or realitive perfect for you and is better then a direct stranger.

being a priest isn't done because you haven't dated for three years it is done because you want to dedicate yourself to god ask yourself do you want to do it out of despair or out of strong believe that this is the appropriate thing to do then your decision will be correct
