Let's define sweet and cheap. Sweet as in fruity or sugary and cheap as in under $10 or $20.

Most sweeter wines will be Rieslings, Moscatos, White Zinfandels.

There are many to chose from if you simply want a sugar sweet wine or imitation such as Arbor MIst, Almaden, Franzia, etc. They have flavors in Mango, Passion Fruit, Sunset Blush and many others for around $10.

Arbor Mist in bottles and all others in 3L or 5L that's equivalent to 4-5 bottles of wine.

Can't get any cheaper and better bang for the buck.

I am not big on white wines, more of a red drinker so the 2 I suggest are both reds. Carol Rossi makes a very sweet inexpensive line of wines, the Blush and also the Sangria are really good. Red wine is usually served room temp, but if you chill it it tastes sweeter. Have A happy new years!

If in North Carolina, try Duplin wineries My two favorite and they are very sweet is Carolina Red or Hatteras Red. If in Pennsylvania try Presque Wineries Harbour Creek Red. If not check for local wines, they will be cheaper and people around will know more about them then other.

Barefoot Vineyards or Papio both make pretty good wines, and you can't go wrong with Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi. These don't usually cost more than $10 a bottle (the Papio is $4.99, I think).
