U dont go to movies on first date, cause in first date you have to show who you are, and you cant do that if you stay silent watching a movie.
Note that you re not going out WITH her, you re going out with or without her. The difference is important. She wont asume you ll pay everything and if its really a date (less pressure on her side).
One last thing, dont ask a girl out unless you know that she likes you at least bit. You talk with her first, create rapport and an emotional connection with her and after that you can ask her out

maybe you should get to know her more..maybe seeing if you guys have stuff in common..then when you guys get to know eachother alot more..and start being best buds..maybe then you can ask her!!
