3 good meals that are nutritional, an d a few snacks in between. My daughter is 19 months she gets a morning snack around 10, an afternoon snack around 3, and an evening snack around 7 just before bed. I am a health freak so i make sure she gets what she needs in a days time.

You should feed your baby 3 full meals a day and a snack in between each.
3 meals plus 3 snacks is usually enough food to get in all the fruits, veggies, protein and whole grains that your baby will need to continue to grow and develop.

My daughter 17 1/2 months eats 6 small meals a day and nurses to sleep at night. She eats about every 2-3 hours. She's very picky...and finicky. I don't force her to eat all that I give her. But I do make sure she eats something at every sitting. She's also a shrimp...always has been. Talk to your pediatrician about your situation at the next appt.

as often as he/she is hungry.
this is something to really discuss with your pediatrician b/c every baby's eating habits will change as they get older.
my son is about the size of a 6 month old and eats like one too and he is almost 4 months. his doctor said that he is completely healthy and in no way in danger of being overweight. his length balances his weight.
anyway....use what you get as answers as a guide, but please, still consult your pediatrician.
take care:)
